Customer Service Specialist - Bilingual

Location: New Rochelle, NY

Schedule: Full time 35 hours a week|Monday–Thursday 8:30AM – 4:30 PM  and alternating Friday 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM and Saturday 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Fluency in both English and Spanish is required.

We're looking for aCustomer Service Specialist - Bilingual to serve as the first point of contact for clients at our busy community counseling center. What You'll Do

As a Customer Service Specialist, you'll help create a welcoming experience for every client while supporting the day-to-day operations of our office. Responsibilities include:

• Greet and assist clients with professionalism and care.
• Register new clients for services.
• Verify insurance information and collect co-pays.
• Schedule and coordinate client appointments.
• Answer incoming phone calls, direct calls, and take messages.
• Process emails, mail, and faxes.
• Scan, copy, file, and maintain electronic health records.
• Provide administrative support and assist with other duties as needed.

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will have:

• At least1 year of experience in a clerical, administrative, front desk, or customer service role.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Experience working with Electronic Health Records (EHR) is preferred.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
• The ability to multitask and work efficiently in a high-volume environment.
• Fluency in both English and Spanish (required).

Education:

• Some college or training school preferred (We offer a great tuition assistance plan)

PHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS:

• Must be capable to sit or stand in front of a computer for long-periods of time
• Able to work in open space floor plan
• Work alongside co-workers within 3 feet
• Occasional lifting of > 15 pounds
