Customer Service Representative
Job Type: 4 Months Contract
Location: Newark, NJ
Pay Rate:$19/hour on W2
Shift:11:00 AM – 7:30 PM
Job Summary
We are seeking aCustomer Service Representative to support customers, business partners, and delivery teams while ensuring a smooth and positive delivery experience.
This role is ideal for someone with strong customer service and problem-solving skills who can manage multiple priorities, resolve issues professionally, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist customers and business partners viaphone and email.
- Handle customer complaints and concerns in a calm and professional manner.
- Diagnose, assess, and resolve customer and delivery-related issues.
- Monitor the progress of delivery routes and provide appropriate updates.
- Scan haul-away pods and verify required stamps.
- Process changes, updates, and cancellations to delivery orders.
- Coordinate with drivers and internal teams to resolve delivery issues.
- Maintain accurate information and documentation throughout the customer interaction.
Qualifications
- 1+ year of related customer service experience, preferably in a call center environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to effectively investigate and resolve customer issues.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet customer service expectations.
- Proficiency withMicrosoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project.
