Customer Master Maintenance Clerk

An accurate and up to date Customer Master database is one of the key pillars of our AS400 system

which has an effect on all departments (Billing Accuracy, Freight Delivery).

As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely creation of new accounts and 

changes to existing accounts within our database.

• Create accounts for new Customers from approved credit applications within 24 hours of receipt.
• Reach out to Credit References, when required, to ensure accounts are created promptly.
• Communicate professionally with Customers, both internally and externally.
• Complete changes for invoicing (AR Requests) in time for the statement run (email address changes etc.)
• Ensure any "RUSH" requests are handled appropriately
• Back Up support for Cash Applications as required
• Additional duties as needed
