Customer Care Representative

Pay:$19 – $21 per hour

Location:Near Olean, NY (on site)

Employment Type:Full-Time

The Opportunity

Our client is looking for a warm, capable communicator to be the voice of the company for its customers. You'll be the first person customers reach when they need to place an order, request a quote, or report a problem, and you'll make sure they leave the conversation feeling heard and taken care of. It's a busy, people-focused role for someone who enjoys helping others and keeping many things moving at once.

What You'll Do

• Answer customer calls and emails, with a focus on logging service requests and entering sales orders
• Take supply orders and put together price quotes
• Walk customers through basic troubleshooting by phone when equipment issues come up
• Follow shipments, look into order problems, and see them through to resolution
• Respond with patience, empathy, and speed
• Lend a hand to the administrative team with other tasks as needed

What You Bring

• High school diploma or GED
• Previous customer service experience
• Comfort with computers for data entry and record keeping
• Familiarity with business phone systems
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• A genuine commitment to customer satisfaction
• Strong multitasking skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting
