Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineering Lead, a typical day involves overseeing the technical direction and architectural design of bespoke software solutions. This role requires guiding and supporting teams throughout the entire development lifecycle, from initial design concepts to final delivery. The position demands ensuring that development practices meet high standards of quality, scalability, and performance, all while aligning with the broader business goals. Collaboration with various stakeholders and continuous evaluation of project progress are integral parts of the daily routine, fostering an environment of innovation and technical excellence.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using Java 8 or above and Spring Boot. Build scalable and resilient microservices-based solutions.
- Develop and consume RESTful APIs. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and implement technical solutions.
- Participate in application architecture and design discussions.
- Work with source control and version management systems – Maven/GIT
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.
- Follow coding standards, security practices, and software development best practices.
- Support cloud deployment and application modernization initiatives.
- Utilize AI-powered developer productivity tools such as GitHub Copilot for code generation, code reviews, and development acceleration.
Professional & Technical Skills:
Must Have:
- Strong experience in Java 8 or above
- Spring Boot Framework, Microservices Architecture, Git Version Control Maven/Gradle Build Tools
- REST API Development, Knowledge on CI/CD Pipeline Implementation
Good to Have:
- Knowledge on frontend components using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Knowledge on Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), Docker and Containerization Concepts , Kubernetes Basics
- Monitoring and Logging Tools, Agile/Scrum Methodology, Basic Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence (AI) Concepts
- Familiarity with AI-assisted Development Tools such as GitHub Copilot, Understanding of Prompt Engineering and AI-driven Developer Productivity Tools
Soft Skills:

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Java Full Stack Development.
- The candidate is required to work out of the Client Office in Kharadi, Pune for 3 days per week, as per the mandate
