As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing, building, and configuring applications tailored to fulfill specific business processes and application needs. This role requires a deep understanding of how to translate business requirements into functional software solutions, ensuring that applications are both efficient and scalable. The position demands continuous collaboration with various stakeholders to align software capabilities with organizational goals, while also adapting to evolving project demands and priorities throughout the day.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to identify and implement process improvements within the team to enhance productivity and quality.
- Mentor junior team members by sharing knowledge and best practices to foster professional growth.
- Coordinate cross-functional communication to ensure alignment and timely delivery of project milestones.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Oracle Procedural Language Extensions to SQL (PLSQL).
- Strong experience in writing complex queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers using Oracle PLSQL.
- Ability to optimize database performance through effective indexing, query tuning, and resource management.
- Familiarity with database design principles and data modeling to support application development.
- Experience in debugging and troubleshooting database-related issues to maintain system reliability.
- Knowledge of integrating PLSQL with other application components and services for seamless functionality.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Oracle Procedural Language Extensions to SQL (PLSQL).
- This position is based at our BDC6F - SEZ location.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
