The NPLM&SLM Senior leads the launch team in a new project, monitoring the project's time, budget, team and scope and ensuring the functionality and quality.
The NPLM&SLM Senior is responsible to ensure all needed inputs and outputs are avaialble from different disciplines, in order to support achieving the project team's objectives and targets.

▪ Review of existing capacity and reuse of existing equipment 
Develops the Manufacturing Concept based on the product architecture and requirements, matching it to the state of the art of the production processes and technologies.
▪  Develops operations quotes for industrialization based on product requirements, lean principles and robust processes.
Performs the following "Project Management" tasks within the scope of the Operations Discipline:
▪    Defines operations project targets (financial, scheduling and scope).  
▪    Selects operations team members in conjunction with the line management.              
▪    Establishes an adequate project base (meetings and cadence, information/ knowledge exchange, documentation, archiving).                 
▪    Helps build up a supportive culture of cooperation and teamwork within the project.            
▪    Tailors optional activities according to the project's needs and ensures compliance to the processes.               
▪    Develops and maintains the Manufacturing Launch Schedule according to the PLC (phases, deliverables, gates, etc.) throughout the life of the project, achieving the agreed operations objectives.                 
▪    Performs Risk Management activities, controls and steers the implementation of risk items with the line and project management.
▪    Defines the Manufacturing process, fitting the product and oversees the creation of the work packages.

▪    Responsible for completing the activities within operations, meeting the specific quality, cost and timing requirements as aligned with the Project Manager.
▪    Responsible for Operations decisions.
▪    Responsible to immediately communicate to the Project Manager any delays, problems, or risks regarding Operations activities.                      
▪    Responsible to document the Operations activities.
▪    Responsible for ensuring the Operations Launch Team is staffed.
▪    Evaluates performance of team members in accordance with line management. Actively manages and optimizes the use of the project's resources, by assigning activities to the Operations project team members (delegation and direction).
▪    Oversees the implementation of the equipment and processes, necessary for the product.
