DBA/Database Analyst

We are currently looking for a "DBA/Database Analyst" to strengthen the Cronos Europa team.

Responsibilities

• Development and maintenance of PL/SQL objects (packages, procedures, functions, triggers).
• Data analysis and data modelling.
• Oracle database administration tasks: backups, exports/imports, data pumps, index rebuilding, user and privilege management.
• Database performance tuning and troubleshooting (SQL tuning, index analysis, execution plans).
• Operation support during testing, deployment and production.
• Oracle database design and data modelling (logical and physical).
• Design and creation of Oracle database schemas based on best practices for performance and maintainability.
• Participation in the design and implementation of Oracle Cop (CDB/Pdb) databases.
• Support for batch processes and scheduled jobs (Oracle Scheduler).
• Experience with cloud databases.
• Production of software design documents.
• Participation in technical working groups and progress meetings.
• Collaboration with developers and project leaders on database-related topics.
• Assistance during relevant parts of testing, analysis, technical documentation, deployment, evaluation and reporting.

Profile

• At least 5 years of experience in the position
• Bachelor's degree
• English fluent

Technical skills:

• Strong expertise in Oracle (19C/21c).
• Advanced PL/SQL development.
• Experience with Oracle Cop (Container/Pdb architecture).
• Enterprise architecture (UML, Data Modelling)
• Performance tuning and query optimization.
• Experience with data migration and integration tasks.
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL is a plus.
• Understanding of cloud environments is a plus (non-mandatory).
