Job Summary:Â Â Â Â Â Â
- Consistently adhere to policies and procedures relative to the use of narcotics controlled substances.     Â
- Participate in time-out procedures for every patient.     Â
- Demonstrate evidence based judgment and take the appropriate corrective actions for adverse patient responses. Â Â Â Â Â Â
- Readily assist with pre-op and post-op evaluations; respond to codes, respiratory emergencies and hospital wide requests within a timely manner. Â
- Report promptly and be readily available to facilitate on time starts and room turnover.     Â
- Work with a sense of urgency and utilize time and resources wisely.     Â
- Appropriately evaluate, document, and communicate anesthesia status of patients as necessary.     Â
- Demonstrate and encourage team behavior and exceptional patient/guest experiences.       Â
- Uphold and promote patient safety and quality. Â Â Â Â Â Â
Qualifications
Education:Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â
Graduate of accredited school of nursing. Graduate of accredited school of anesthesia by the AANA. Certified registered nurse anesthetist with Alabama licensure. Registered by the Alabama Board of Nurse Examiners.  Â
Experience:Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â
Prefer 2-3 years' experience as CRNA.           Â
Additional Skills/Abilities:Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â
ACLS, PALS and BCLS certification.           Â
