What You’ll Do
As a Crew Lead/Site Supervisor, you’ll guide the daily execution of onsite work, leading hardscape, carpentry, metalwork, and in-ground construction. Reporting to the Director of Construction, you’ll set the pace, organize the work, and lead installation while supporting, directing, and developing your crew. As conditions change or challenges arise, you’ll assess, adapt, and move the work forward while protecting quality, schedule, and team morale.
Lead daily site operations and direct crew members through installation tasks
Review drawings before job kickoff and translate plans into clear daily goals
Maintain site organization, cleanliness, and protection throughout the workday
Set expectations for safety practices and ensure they are followed on site
Monitor quality of work and coach crew members to meet Brook Landscape standards
Identify workflow issues early and contribute to practical, solution-based decisions
Track material and tool needs and communicate ordering requirements to the Director of Production
Document daily progress and share updates, including photos, with the Executive Director of Operations
Support job tracking and ensure receipts and documentation are properly handled
Shop & Equipment Oversight
Maintain shop cleanliness and delegate shop-related responsibilities
Oversee vehicle cleanliness and basic maintenance, delegating tasks as needed
Support quality control of shop-built items and their transport to job sites
Train crew members on proper tool use and shop safety standards
People & Team Leadership
Train and mentor crew members in field practices, safety, and quality expectations
Address day-to-day performance issues and escalate concerns such as attendance, conduct, or workmanship to the Executive Director of Operations

What You’ll Have
5 or more years of experience across landscape, horticulture, or construction, with at least 2 years leading crews and a strong background in hardscape, carpentry, metalwork, and in-ground construction.
Strong understanding of site workflow, sequencing, and installation standards
Ability to read drawings and plan daily work accordingly
Comfort taking ownership for outcomes related to quality, schedule, and team performance
Clear verbal and written communication skills
Working knowledge of job site safety practices and tool use
Ability to stay organized, track details, and report progress consistently
