Organic Content Production & Activation
- Directly create and produce organic social content hands-on, maintaining a weekly content calendar.
- Coordinate creative production tailored specifically to short-form platforms like TikTok and Instagram Reels.
- Repurpose existing footage and user-generated content (UGC) into engaging organic assets.
- Review organic reach and engagement metrics to continuously inform future creative direction.
Paid Advertising & UGC Repurposing

Colleagues
You will report directly to the Chief Marketing Officer while partnering closely with the VP of Digital, performance marketing leads, and affiliate stakeholders to align creative execution with broader growth targets. On a daily basis, you will manage a multidisciplinary creative pod consisting of a Senior Copywriter, Senior Graphic Designer, and Video Editor.
At Oceans, you’ll also receive guidance and support from your Operations Manager, who will help you succeed in the role and ensure that you’re continuously growing and developing in your career.
Skills and Qualifications
At Oceans, we believe in T-shaped individuals—those who bring deep expertise in one area, paired with broad curiosity and interests. As a Creative Director, your vertical strength will be Creative Concepting, Storytelling & Short-Form Content, while your horizontal capabilities should span Team Leadership, Performance Creative Optimization, and Lean Budget Management.
To excel in this role, you should have:
- Experience: Proven track record leading small, fast-paced creative teams (in-house or DTC brand experience preferred), with hands-on experience in short-form social content (TikTok, Instagram Reels) and paid social advertising. Experience in the DTC beauty or personal-care space is a strong plus.
- Tools/Systems: Proficiency across visual design and video editing software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, frame-accurate review tools), social platforms, and asset management systems. Comfort utilizing AI tools for ideation and storyboarding.
- Analytics/Process: Ability to interpret creative hit rates, CPC/CPA metrics, and engagement data to refine content; strong production management skills with experience establishing high-volume content workflows and managing lean shoot budgets.
- Mindset: A player-coach mentality with high operational agency, speed, and resourcefulness—prioritizing output efficiency and output speed over expensive, complex setups.
During the interview process, you’ll have the opportunity to showcase your skills in the following areas:
