Job Summary 

TheCook report to the Executive Chef. He or she is accountable for playing their part in preparing and serving food that is consistently excellent. This person is a team player, carefully trained, multi-skilled, flexible, courteous and friendly.

The ideal candidate must:

• Have a minimum of two (2) SSC, CXC/GCE subjects including English
• Have a minimum of one (1) year experience in this field
• Have a valid Food Handler’s Permit
• Have working knowledge of the basic culinary arts
• Have working knowledge of how to prepare meals in bulk
• Have the ability to withstand the physical demands of the job
• Have the ability to work flexible shifts
• Have the ability to work well with peers and leaders at all levels
