Role Overview

We are seeking a Catalog Quality Senior Program Managerto help define and scale how Coupang measures, governs, and improves the quality of its product catalog.

This is a cross-functional role at the intersection ofpolicy, program management, and analytics. The successful candidate will translate customer and business problems into clear catalog standards, build programs and measurement frameworks to identify and quantify quality gaps, and partner with Product, Engineering, Operations, Data Science, and business teams to drive systemic improvements.

This role goes beyond identifying individual listing defects. The Senior Program Manager will use audit findings, customer signals, and large-scale catalog data to understandwhere quality problems exist, why they occur, and what interventions will have the greatest customer impact. Those insights will inform policy changes, product improvements, detection and enforcement strategies, and operational programs.

The ideal candidate combines strong analytical judgment with structured problem solving and program leadership. They should be comfortable moving between detailed data analysis and ambiguous policy questions, translating complex findings into simple principles, and influencing senior stakeholders across multiple organizations.

What You Will Do

• Policy & Governance Standards
  • Define and evolve catalog quality policies, guidelines, and decision frameworks to ensure high-quality listings
  • Identify policy gaps and risks, proposing data-backed standards that balance business needs, legal requirements, and customer experience
• Analytics & Quality Measurement
  • Establish KPIs and measurement methodologies to evaluate catalog health and quantify quality issues
  • Conduct root-cause analysis on recurring defects and propose actionable improvement projects to cross-functional teams
• Cross-Functional Alignment & Communication
  • Drive alignment across diverse stakeholders (Legal, Product, Data Science, Tech, and Business channels) with competing priorities
  • Synthesize complex policy and analytical insights into clear data-backed narratives for executive leadership in both English and Korean

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field
• 8+ years of experience acrossprogram management, business analytics, policy, product operations, strategy, or related functions, preferably within e-commerce, marketplaces, technology, or other large-scale digital platforms
• Demonstrated experience owning complex, cross-functional programs from problem definition through implementation and measurement
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with large datasets, identify patterns, develop hypotheses, and translate analysis into business decisions
• Proficiency in SQL and advanced spreadsheet/data-analysis tools
• Experience defining KPIs, measurement methodologies, or quality frameworks
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated ability to communicate recommendations to senior stakeholders
• Business level English 

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience developing policies, standards, governance frameworks, or quality programs for an e-commerce marketplace or large-scale technology platform
• Experience working with catalog, product information, marketplace integrity, trust and safety, content quality, or similar domains
• Experience designing audit methodologies, sampling frameworks, defect measurement, or quality-assurance programs
• Experience using automation, machine learning, or AI-assisted systems to scale quality measurement, detection, or operational processes
• Strong ability to move between strategic problem definition and hands-on analytical investigation.

4. 당사는 위2항 본문에 따른 구직자의 반환 청구에 대비하여 채용 여부가 확정된 날로부터 180 일간 구직자가 제출한 채용서류 원본을 보관하게 되며, 그때까지 채용서류의 반환을 청구하지 아니할 경우에는 『개인정보 보호법』에 따라 지체 없이 채용서류 일체를 파기할 예정입니다.
