Country Marketing Manager (Fixed Term Contract – 9 months)

TheCountry Marketing Manager will be responsible for the execution Robeco’s marketing strategy in Australia and New Zealand. This role will focus on driving brand awareness, client engagement, and business growth with institutional investors and the local wholesale distribution partner. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of executing impactful marketing strategies, and a deep understanding of the local market.

This role is offered on a 9-month fixed-term contract as parental leave cover.

What you will do

• Execute a comprehensive marketing plan that aligns with Robeco’s global marketing strategy and business priorities, effectively supporting the achievement of the broader company objective.
• Build and execute marketing campaigns and key initiatives that enhance brand recognition and grow familiarity with Robeco’s investment strategies in the market.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including broader Marketing, Sales, Investments, Compliance, and PR teams, to drive and execute a cohesive marketing approach.
• Plan and manage an effective event program, including conferences, sponsorships, roadshows, and webinars in alignment with commercial priorities.
• Collaborate with the Investment Marketing Team to create and maintain thought leadership content, marketing collaterals, and regional-specific materials that resonate with target audiences.
• Partner with the PR team and external agency to ensure alignment and consistency of all external communications, amplifying Robeco’s reputation and visibility.
• Collaborate with the Social Media manager to tailor content to the country needs.
• Maintain a running budget tracker and provide regular updates to support the Country Head's review of budget allocation.
• Continuously monitor and report the effectiveness of marketing activities and campaigns, providing actionable insights and recommendations for optimization and improvement.
• Stay abreast of regional regulatory requirements and work closely with the Compliance team to ensure adherence to marketing standards.

What you bring

• At least 5 years of relevant experience in channel marketing, with a proven ability to execute across the full marketing mix.

• In-depth understanding of regulatory and compliance frameworks relevant to the asset management industry.
• Strong strategic planning abilities combined with analytical skills to measure and assess marketing performance.

• Experience in managing country specific marketing responsibilities within a global team structure, while also being able to work independently and take ownership of key initiatives.

• Excellent verbal and writing communication skills in English
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative environment, and effectively engage with colleagues across different functions and regions.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively, meeting deadlines while maintaining a high standard of work.
