Position OverviewNelson University seeks a highly qualified adjunct faculty member with a PhD in Counselor Education & Supervision from a CACREP-accredited program to begin teaching in Fall 2027. This position is within the Department of Behavioral Sciences and Community Services.
The successful candidate will teach assigned graduate counseling courses in a fully online format and contribute to the continued strength of the counseling curriculum. Primary Responsibilities· Teach assigned counseling and counselor education courses beginning Fall 2027.· Deliver instruction aligned with CACREP standards where applicable.· Integrate Christian faith and professional counseling identity in course engagement.· Facilitate applied learning, case analysis, and professional skill development.· Provide timely, substantive feedback to students.· Submit required course documentation and assessment materials. Minimum QualificationsEducation· Preferred:
- State licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor
- Minimum 3 years teaching experience in a college or university setting
- Earned doctoral degree in Counselor Education & Supervision
- Graduate of a CACREP-accredited program
- ABD candidates with a clear timeline toward completion of the terminal degree may be considered.

CompensationCompensation is determined according to established distance education pay scales and is based on credentials and teaching assignments.
