Do you have experience as a Corporate Paralegal, are bilingual and want to make the leap to work in an in-house legal department?

Here’s a great opportunity to join a team of attorneys at a corporation with a North American presence and headquarters in Montreal. You’ll also gain experience handling cases involving commercial contract administration, claims, and commercial leases.

YOUR ROLE:

As a Paralegal, you will work closely with the Montreal legal team.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Maintain the minute books;

• Coordinate documentation related to the formation and registration of companies;

• Oversee the renewal, transfer, and amendment of commercial leases, and rigorously monitor them;

• Manage the entire claims process, from analysis and notification through resolution and settlement;

• Participate in the administration of commercial contracts by reviewing, tracking approval, executing, renewing, amending, and managing termination.

   

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• DCS in Paralegal Technology or other combination of experience and equivalent training;

• Corporate experience required;

• Fluency in English, both written and spoken; good knowledge of French;

• Excellent English writing skills of legal documents;

• Strong ability to manage priorities and organize work;

• Strong interpersonal skills and a proactive approach.
