About Role
NEOWIZ is evolving its brand communications from execution-driven PR activities into a more strategic, globally connected narrative function.
We are looking for a brand planning professional who can develop clear, well-reasoned proposals for how NEOWIZ should be understood as a company, and translate agreed direction into tangible brand initiatives.
This role is expected to form an initial point of view, explain the reasoning behind it, and refine proposals through discussion with leadership and colleagues. It combines strategic proposal development with hands-on project leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop initial corporate brand strategy proposals, including how NEOWIZ should be perceived, what differentiates the company, and the evidence supporting that positioning.
- Synthesize business context, internal perspectives, and external research into a clear recommendation, making assumptions, alternatives, and key decisions explicit.
- Refine proposals with leadership and relevant colleagues, incorporating their expertise while maintaining ownership of the recommendation. 2. Video-First & Integrated Storytelling
- Translate agreed brand direction into clear project objectives, key messages, and briefs for internal teams and external creative partners.
- Evaluate partner proposals and creative outputs against the intended purpose, audience, and message, providing clear direction and actionable feedback.
- Lead major brand initiatives from planning through delivery, coordinating workstreams, stakeholder responsibilities, external partners, timelines, and budgets, and aligning with leadership on key decisions. 3. Brand Initiatives & Project Leadership
- Take ownership of major corporate brand initiatives, including NEOWIZ’s 30th anniversary project, building on existing plans and refining them into an integrated delivery roadmap.
- Define project objectives, audiences, key messages, program components, deliverables, timelines, and budgets.
- Coordinate internal workstreams and external partners, clarifying responsibilities, managing dependencies, and aligning with leadership on key decisions.
- Set clear direction and briefs for content and creative partners, evaluating proposals and outputs against project objectives in collaboration with relevant B&C colleagues.
- Drive delivery across content, digital, events, and other relevant brand touchpoints, managing issues and trade-offs to maintain quality and momentum.
- Evaluate outcomes and identify opportunities to reuse content and assets beyond the initial project.
1. Brand Narrative & Strategic Direction
Required Qualifications
- Significant experience in brand strategy, integrated communications, editorial leadership, strategic consulting, or related fields. Typically 8+ years, with demonstrated capabilities valued over tenure alone.
- Strong proposal development: Ability to form a clear point of view and build a logically structured recommendation supported by relevant evidence.
- Brand and creative judgment: Ability to articulate a clear direction, write effective briefs, and assess whether partner proposals and outputs serve the intended brand objectives.
- Strong problem-framing ability: Capable of questioning the purpose behind a request, evaluating alternatives, and connecting communication initiatives to business objectives.
- Independent project leadership: Demonstrated ability to structure ambiguous assignments, establish priorities, mobilize stakeholders, and drive execution with limited day-to-day supervision.
- Business and strategic judgment: Ability to engage with senior leadership, challenge assumptions constructively, and provide well-reasoned recommendations.
- Strong storytelling capabilities across written, visual, and video formats, with an understanding of audience engagement and platform-specific communication.
- Ability to proactively resolve complex challenges through clear communication, navigate differing perspectives, align stakeholders, and incorporate feedback while maintaining ownership of outcomes.
- Curiosity and learning agility, including willingness to leverage AI, research, and external expertise to solve unfamiliar problems.
- Experience collaborating across functions, agencies, or international markets.
What Success Looks Like
- You identify and initiate meaningful communication opportunities rather than waiting for fully defined assignments.
- You can clearly articulatewhy a project matters, what success looks like, and how it should be delivered before moving into execution.
- You independently move ideas forward while proactively aligning with leadership at critical decision points.
- You turn agreed brand direction into coherent, well-executed initiatives, with clear responsibilities, timely decisions, and effective collaboration across teams and partners.
