Description:

We are seeking an experienced Core Data Migration and ETL Consultant to lead data migration activities for large scale ERP, SAP S4HANA, cloud, and digital transformation programs. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing end to end data migration strategies, ETL processes, data validation, reconciliation, and cutover support.
Key Responsibilities.
Data Migration Strategy and Execution.
Lead end to end data migration activities including assessment, extraction, transformation, cleansing, loading, validation, and reconciliation.
Define data migration roadmap, approach, templates, and governance framework.
Collaborate with business and functional teams to understand legacy and target data requirements.
Identify and mitigate data quality, integrity, and migration risks.
ETL Development and Data Integration.
Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes for extracting and transforming data from multiple source systems.
Build scalable data pipelines using ETL tools and SQL based frameworks.
Perform complex data transformations, mapping, and harmonization activities.
Integrate data from ERP, CRM, legacy systems, databases, APIs, and cloud platforms.
Data Analysis and Quality Management.
Conduct data profiling, cleansing, standardization, and enrichment activities.
Develop reconciliation reports and validation frameworks to ensure migration accuracy.
Identify duplicate, incomplete, and inconsistent records and recommend remediation actions.
Define data quality rules and monitor compliance throughout migration cycles.
Testing and Cutover Support.
Support mock cycles, dress rehearsals, SIT, UAT, and production cutovers.
Execute data validation and reconciliation activities during deployment.
Prepare migration status reports and communicate progress to stakeholders.
Support hypercare and post go live data stabilization activities.
Stakeholder and Project Management.
Work closely with Business SMEs, Functional Consultants, Technical Architects, and Project Managers.
Facilitate workshops for data mapping, business rules definition, and migration sign off.
Mentor junior consultants and ETL developers.
Contribute to migration best practices, accelerators, and reusable assets.
Required Skills.
8 to 12 years of IT experience with strong focus on Data Migration and ETL.
Hands on experience in:
Data Migration Strategy and Execution.
ETL Development.
SQL and Advanced SQL.
Data Mapping and Transformation.
Data Validation and Reconciliation.
Data Quality Management.
Data Profiling and Cleansing.
Strong experience with ETL tools such as:
Informatica PowerCenter or IICS.
SAP Data Services BODS.
SSIS.
Talend.
Azure Data Factory ADF.
Matillion or similar tools.
Experience working with relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, DB2, and SAP HANA.
Strong data analysis and troubleshooting skills.
Preferred Skills.
Experience in SAP S4HANA Data Migration projects.
Exposure to SAP Migration Cockpit, SAP Data Services, LTMC or LTMOM.
Experience with Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud data platforms.
Knowledge of Master Data Governance MDG.
Familiarity with Python, Shell Scripting, and Automation.
Understanding of Data Governance and Data Management frameworks.
Domain Experience Preferred.
Finance R2R, P2P, OTC.

Educational Qualification.
Bachelor's or master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
