With 12 hospitals and hundreds of ambulatory care locations, including former Ascension Southeast Michigan and Flint Region facilities, our growing network expands access to exceptional care in the communities we serve.

Headquartered in Detroit, Henry Ford Health is helping shape the future of healthcare through the transformative Future of Health: Detroit initiative, a $3 billion investment that is redefining our academic healthcare campus and advancing innovation, research, education, and community impact.

Our work is grounded in purpose, collaboration, and belonging. We empower team members to grow their careers, contribute innovative ideas, and make a meaningful difference every day. Whether you're caring for patients, supporting operations, conducting research, or driving new solutions, you'll be part of a team united by a shared mission: delivering exceptional care, advancing health outcomes, and building healthier communities for all.

  • **Build & Maintain:** Develop and keep POC operating procedures current and compliant with all accrediting and regulatory requirements, using PALM-approved standardized formats
  • **Collect & Analyze:** Gather quality data that tells the story of where we are and where we're headed, then use those insights to spark meaningful educational initiatives and drive continuous improvements
  • **Empower & Support:** Partner with caregivers and healthcare workers to develop robust staff training programs and ensure POC laboratories meet all accrediting and regulatory standards
  • **Collaborate:** Work cross-functionally to foster awareness and champion a culture of quality and compliance across the organization

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Completion of a bachelor's degree in a chemical, physical, biological or clinical laboratory science, medical technology, or Allied Health Administration from an accredited institution.
  • Requires a minimum of three (3) years of progressive responsibility including demonstrated leadership qualities in an accredited laboratory.
