SUMMARY

TheCooks report to the Executive Chef. S/He is accountable for playing their part in preparing and serving food that is consistently excellent. This person is a team player, carefully trained, multi-skilled, flexible, courteous and friendly.

The ideal candidate must have:

• NCTVET certification in culinary studies
• Minimum of one (1) year experience in this field.
• Valid Food Handler’s Permit 
• Working knowledge of the basic culinary arts
• Hands-on job experience and knowledge of how to prepare meals in bulk 
• Ability to withstand the physical demands of the job
• Ability to work flexible shifts including week-end and Public holidays
• Ability to work well with peers and leaders at all levels
