At Four Seasons Residence Club Aviara, the Cook 2isresponsible forexecuting diverse and flavorful menus with efficiency andexpertise.Â
What you will do:
Oversee daily kitchen operations at the station andoperate independently in a busy environment.
Assist in menu creation, preparation of items and specials and cost recipes.
Manage miseen place,pars, and station set up.
Complete requisitions, obtain proper signatures andsubmit them to the Purchasingdepartment.
Communicate with the Summits Grill Manager, Sous Chef,and Chef de Cuisineregarding menu items, problem situations or shortages.
Utilize the computer system for order retrieval.
Maintain quality standards in production and presentation using standard recipes.
Foster a positive working relationship with colleagues, providing guidance as needed.Conduct oneself in a professional manner at all times to reflect thehigh standards of Four Seasons and encourage staff to do the same.
Ensure a clean and organized work area, storing items properly at the end of the shift.
Handle and report any accidentimmediately, no matter how minor.
Cover the Cook I on days off of vacations.
Perform other tasks or projects as assigned byResidence Clubmanagement and staff.Â
What you bring:
Reading, writing and oralproficiency in the English language
High school graduate and an apprenticeship, cooking school or culinary institute education.
Highly developed sense of taste and comprehensive sauce preparation skills.
Refined plating techniques
3+ years culinary experience in a fine diningenvironment
