Role Descriptions:
Environment Management: Install, configure, upgrade, and patch Control-M Server, Enterprise Manager, and Agents across UNIX/Linux and Windows environments.
Workflow Design: Collaborate with application teams to design, schedule, and manage complex job dependencies, SMART tables, and calendars.
Job & SLA Monitoring: Monitor daily batch operations, troubleshoot job failures, and optimize workflows to ensure strict business SLAs are met.
Platform Automation: Utilize the Control-M Automation API, REST APIs, and Job-as-Code methodologies to automate scheduling deployments within CI/CD pipelines.
Incident & Change Management: Handle critical production issues (Level 2/3), perform root cause analysis (RCA), and manage change requests (e.g., via ServiceNow).
Security & Governance: Manage user roles, establish shout destinations, handle SSL certificates, and ensure Managed File Transfer (MFT) configurations are secure.
Key Skills & Requirements
Platform Expertise: Hands-on experience with BMC Control-M version 9.x or higher.
Scripting Languages: Proficiency in Shell, Python, or Perl.
DevOps Tools: Familiarity with Git (GitHub/GitLab) and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
Infrastructure Knowledge: Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), databases, and cross-platform integrations. [1, 2, 3]
