Control Engineering Intern

In this role, you will develop advanced control algorithms, with a strong focus on Model Predictive Control (MPC) and optimization-based control, contributing to intelligent solutions for vehicle dynamics, motion control, and autonomous driving. Working closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams, you will bridge control theory, simulation, and real-world automotive applications to deliver robust, safe, and high-performance solutions.

Your Role

• Design, develop, and optimize MPC controllers and other advanced control algorithms for automotive systems.
• Formulate and solve constrained optimization problems for vehicle motion planning and control.
• Develop vehicle and system models to support controller design, simulation, and performance analysis
• Implement and validate control algorithms using MATLAB/Simulink, Python, or C/C++.
• Analyze system behavior, identify performance limitations, and propose improvements in control accuracy, robustness, and computational efficiency
• Contribute to technical documentation, design reviews, and engineering best practices

Your Background

• Bachelor student (last year) in Control Engineering, Robotics, Automation, Automotive Engineering, or a related technical field
• Good communication skills and proficiency in technical English
• Knowledge of control theory, dynamic systems, and optimization methods
• Knowledge of Model Predictive Control (MPC) and constrained optimization.
• Experience with MATLAB/Simulink and proficiency in Python or C/C++.
• Knowledge of vehicle dynamics and automotive control systems.
• Experience in modeling, simulation, and validation of control algorithms
• Understanding of real-time control and embedded systems constraints
