Control Engineer

Position Title: Control Engineer
Pay Range : $70 per hour - $75 per hour

• Location: Middlesex, NC
• Relocation benefits are available for those willing to relocate to Middlesex, NC.

Responsibilities:

• Design, specify, and implement electrical systems for production equipment and manufacturing processes.
• Standardize electrical systems throughout the plant.
• Plan plant grid infrastructure, focusing on cost savings and carbon footprint reduction.
• Define and implement safety systems and roll out plans for equipment safeguarding.
• Support Industry 4.0 initiatives, including data collection and real-time dashboards.
• Develop predictive maintenance systems and alerts for key equipment.
• Design processes to ensure compliance with internal and external quality specifications.
• Work with suppliers and purchasing for equipment procurement.
• Mentor others in manufacturing engineering processes and lean concepts.
• Perform electronic development tasks to ensure compliance with functional and environmental requirements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline from an accredited institution.
• Minimum two years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Must be a U.S. person as defined by ITAR regulations.
• Ability to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with EHS electrical design and standardization.
• Experience in electronic system fault diagnostics and reporting.
• Knowledge of Industry 4.0, including predictive maintenance and human-machine interface.
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from an accredited institution.
