Flexible schedule with core hours of 10:00 AM–3:00 PM ET

(Tuesday–Thursday onsite; Monday and Friday remote) Overview Seeking a detail-oriented Junior Contracts Manager to support commercial contract management activities within the aviation and aerospace industry. Approximately 90% of this role focuses on drafting, reviewing, revising, and negotiating commercial contracts, with the remaining responsibilities involving procurement contracts (5%), government contracts (5%), risk management, compliance, and administrative support. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in contract law, commercial contract drafting, and negotiation, with the ability to independently manage multiple agreements while minimizing contractual risk. Required Skills
- Minimum 3 years of experience in contract management, commercial contracts, or contract administration.
- Strong experience drafting, reviewing, redlining, and negotiating commercial contracts.
- Knowledge of contract law, contractual obligations, liability, warranties, and risk management.
- Experience preparing and reviewing agreements, amendments, NDAs, licensing agreements, and service contracts.
- Understanding of compliance requirements, regulatory standards, and contract lifecycle management.
- Ability to identify contractual risks and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Strong written and verbal communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
- Ability to independently manage multiple projects and competing deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Draft, review, redline, and negotiate commercial agreements with airline operators, manufacturers, and service providers.
- Prepare sales agreements, maintenance contracts, purchase agreements, leases, NDAs, software licensing agreements, and contract amendments.
- Review contract terms involving liability, warranties, intellectual property, regulatory compliance, and risk exposure.
- Support procurement and subcontractor negotiations.
- Assist with U.S. government contracts, including agreements involving Department of Defense agencies.
- Collaborate with Legal, Sales, Finance, Procurement, and Compliance teams to develop commercially sound agreements.
- Provide contractual support for RFPs, RFQs, bids, and customer negotiations.
- Identify and resolve contractual discrepancies, compliance concerns, and potential business risks.
- Maintain accurate contract repositories, amendments, renewals, and supporting documentation.
- Ensure agreements comply with internal policies, applicable regulations, and contractual requirements.
- Support improvements to contract management processes and documentation.
- Experience in aviation, aerospace, defense, or a similarly regulated industry.
- Familiarity with FAA, EASA, or ICAO regulations.
- Experience supporting airline customers, aircraft manufacturers, or maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) providers.
- Knowledge of government contracting, procurement agreements, and subcontract management.
- Experience with intellectual property, export controls, and licensing agreements.
- French or Spanish language proficiency is a plus.
