Job Title: SAP BusinessObjects BI Migration Consultant Designation: Contractor-05

Location: Charlotte, North Carolina, US

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced SAP BusinessObjects BI Migration Consultant to lead and execute the migration of SAP BusinessObjects BI 4.3 environments to SAP BusinessObjects BI 2025. The consultant will be responsible for end-to-end migration activities, ensuring a seamless transition while maintaining the integrity and performance of the BI platform.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive landscape assessments to evaluate current SAP BusinessObjects BI 4.3 environments.
• Develop detailed migration plans that outline timelines, resources, and methodologies for successful migration to SAP BusinessObjects BI 2025.
• Execute migration activities, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations and adherence to best practices.
• Provide validation support post-migration to ensure data integrity and system functionality.
• Oversee production deployment, ensuring all components are operational and meet business requirements.
• Facilitate stabilization efforts post-deployment, addressing any issues that arise and optimizing system performance.
• Conduct knowledge transfer sessions with internal teams to ensure operational readiness and effective use of the new BI platform.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align migration efforts with organizational goals and objectives.

Mandatory Skills:

• Strong expertise in SAP BusinessObjects architecture and migration methodologies.
• Proficient in security administration within SAP BusinessObjects environments.
• In-depth knowledge of BI platform operations and best practices.
• Ability to analyze complex systems and provide effective solutions during migration.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with stakeholders.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with SAP BusinessObjects BI 2025 features and enhancements.
• Familiarity with data governance and compliance standards related to BI.
• Knowledge of additional BI tools and technologies that complement SAP BusinessObjects.
• Project management skills, including the ability to manage timelines and deliverables effectively.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications in SAP BusinessObjects or related BI technologies are a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to lead complex migration projects in a fast-paced environment.
