Contract Manager
Location: Atlanta, Georgia
Work Arrangement: Hybrid working model with a minimum of four days per week in the office and one day per week remote.
What You'll Do at Elekta
As a Contract Manager, you will play a critical role in supporting Elekta's commercial operations by managing and administering customer support, maintenance, and product-related agreements. Working closely with Sales, Service, Finance, Legal Affairs, Order Fulfillment, and other key stakeholders, you will help ensure contracts are structured appropriately, comply with company policies, and support business objectives.
You will serve as a trusted partner to internal teams, providing guidance on contract terms, proposal structures, and commercial processes while maintaining a strong focus on compliance, customer experience, and operational excellence. This role requires strong analytical skills, sound judgment, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, process, and administer customer support, maintenance, and product agreements within the assigned territory.
- Ensure contracts and contractual documentation comply with Elekta policies, procedures, and applicable business requirements.
- Collaborate with Sales and Service teams to develop contract proposals and commercial alternatives using CLM and quotation systems.
- Build a working knowledge of Elekta products, technologies, and service offerings to support commercial discussions and contract development.
- Create and maintain accurate customer records, contract files, and supporting documentation.
- Establish and maintain contract information within CLM, ERP, and other business systems.
- Evaluate contract requests and identify potential risks, obligations, contingencies, and site-specific requirements.
- Negotiate routine contract variations or escalate requests regarding pricing, terms, or non-standard provisions when appropriate.
- Draft amendment documentation and coordinate required approvals for changes to standard agreements.
- Support customer order processing activities and gather required information for management review and approval.
- Maintain assigned key performance indicators, including contract turnaround time and service level expectations.
- Partner with Legal, Finance, Sales, Service, and Order Fulfillment teams to resolve contractual and operational issues.
- Monitor monthly, quarterly, and annual order objectives and support commercial activities required to achieve business goals.
- Incorporate Elekta's values into all responsibilities and interactions.
- Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Management, or a related field preferred. Equivalent professional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in contract administration, contract management, sales operations, commercial operations, legal support, or a related field.
- Experience reviewing and managing customer agreements, service contracts, or commercial contracts.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple high-priority tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to build effective partnerships across cross-functional teams and with internal stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Understanding of basic finance and accounting concepts and terminology.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision while exercising sound professional judgment.
- Customer-focused mindset with the ability to balance business needs, compliance requirements, and stakeholder expectations.
