• C2C / 1099: $100.00 – $120.00 / hr

• W2: $85.00 – $105.00 / hr

Position Summary

Our client is seeking an experiencedMicrosoft Purview Architect specializing inData Loss Prevention (DLP) andData Security Posture Management (DSPM) for AI. In this 100% remote contract role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing comprehensive data governance, DLP, and DSPM architectures within Microsoft Purview, with a primary focus on securing AI-related data workflows across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Architectural Design & Implementation: Design, implement, and optimize data governance, DLP, and DSPM architectures in Microsoft Purview tailored for secure AI data usage.

• Policy & Classification Frameworks: Collaborate with security, data, and application teams to define data policies, classification models, and granular access controls.

• Platform Integration: Integrate Microsoft Purview with existing enterprise data platforms, configuring DLP rules and advanced monitoring capabilities.

• Reference Architectures & Advisory: Develop clear reference architectures, technical documentation, and actionable best practices for secure AI data operations.

• Troubleshooting & Proof of Concepts: Support and optimize ongoing Purview deployments, lead proof-of-concept (PoC) initiatives, and troubleshoot technical bottlenecks.

• Strategic Alignment: Contribute insights to broader security and compliance roadmaps while coordinating effectively with distributed, cross-functional stakeholders.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Mandatory Specialization: Proven hands-on experience withDSPM for AI within Microsoft Purview.

• Purview & DLP Expertise: Deep technical expertise in Microsoft Purview architecture, data classification, sensitive information types (SITs), and Data Loss Prevention (DLP) configuration.

• Client-Facing & Architectural Experience: Strong background in client-facing consulting or advisory roles with the ability to articulate technical data security concepts to leadership and technical teams.

• Hybrid Environments: Hands-on experience integrating Purview across complex on-premises, cloud, and hybrid infrastructure.

• Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a track record of driving alignment across remote, distributed teams.
