Born from the frustration of students who knew the system could be better, we set out to build what we once wished existed: tutoring that actually works. Not generic classes. Not recycled notes. • Contour TestPrep:Reshaping test preparation, starting with the selective entry exam, through rigorous tutoring, mock exams, and data-driven feedback to give students a decisive advantage.

What You Will Do

You own video across all three stages of production: pre-production, shooting, and editing.

• Pre-production: Draft and refine scripts, pitch content ideas, organise talent (with booking support from the Production Coordinator), and plan shot lists and run sheets ahead of each shoot.
• Directing: Direct talent and presenters on the day, guide pacing, framing and tone, and make confident calls on the floor to keep the shoot on track.
• Shooting: Film on campus and on location, set up and operate camera, lighting and audio gear, and capture clean footage, plus supporting stills and b-roll, to brief.
• Editing: Cut in Adobe Premiere Pro to Contour's brand standard, add captions, graphics and colour, manage and archive media, and repurpose long-form pieces into social-first cuts.
• Collaboration and craft: Take creative direction from the Video Production Lead, work to briefs and a publishing schedule in Notion, and stay across current platform trends and specs.

What You Will Bring

• A portfolio of content you've both filmed and edited.
• Confident with DSLR / mirrorless cameras, plus lighting and audio setup.
• Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro, with a strong eye for pacing and a clean finish.
• More than comfortable directing talent and running a piece-to-camera shoot.
• A sense for what makes content engaging for a student audience.
• Comfortable writing or co-writing scripts from a brief, without needing everything templated.
• Speed and nimbleness: quality work, turned around quickly, even when priorities shift.
• An ownership mentality: you treat your content as yours end to end.
• Comfort using AI tools to speed up scripting, ideation and edit workflows.
• A driver's licence and access to a vehicle, to travel to shoots across Contour's campuses.

Motion graphics or After Effects skills, and your own gear, are a bonus, not a requirement.

Turn what our tutors know into videos students actually want to watch.

You will own your projectend to end:pre-production, shooting, and editing. Most days you're filming educational content and pieces to camera, in and on location, then cutting the result into something students actually finish watching.

This is a genuinely broad role. You'llscript and plan,direct talent on the day,operate the camera, andedit the final cut yourself. The Production Coordinator will help handle logistics and scheduling, so you can stay focused on the creative.

You're measured first onwhether the work serves and engages the student audience. Reach and brand outcomes are what follow when that standard is met, not the other way around.
