Job Summary:Join as an onsite Contested Paralegal in Winston-Salem, NC, working Monday-Friday from 8:30am-5:00pm to support attorneys in civil litigation. Provide clerical and research assistance, including document preparation and review, investigations, fact-checking, and trial preparation. Handle client meetings, draft pleadings, motions, affidavits, and interrogatories, track billable hours, and maintain confidentiality in a fast-paced environment. Requires 2+ years of civil litigation experience. Key Responsibilities:

Meet with attorneys, clients, and professionals to discuss cases or projects.
Draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, affidavits, and interrogatories.
File motions and pleadings following judicial procedures.
Research statutes, regulations, judicial decisions, and legal sources.
Analyze findings and provide written summaries to attorneys.
Prepare, organize, store, and retrieve case files including evidence, exhibits, depositions, and pleadings.
Track and maintain billable hours records for cases.
Perform other assigned duties.

Key Requirements:

2+ years of civil litigation experience.
Associate degree in Paralegal Studies or related field preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong understanding of legal language, principles, research methods, court pleadings, and processes.
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
Superior organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proven time management skills to meet deadlines.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
Commitment to confidentiality, discretion, and sound judgment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
