About the project
As a Video Content & Demos Specialist for Client AI Database DevRel, you'll lead the creation and elevation of technical video storytelling, focusing on high-impact demos, walkthroughs, and multimedia narratives around RAG, vector search, and LLM integrations. You'll craft engaging, developer-centric videos and demos that simplify complex AI Database concepts, optimize for discoverability, and drive community growth through compelling visual experiences that showcase Client's AI utility.
Key Responsibilities
- Curate content calendars prioritizing video and demo assets; script, produce, and edit technical videos (using Camtasia or similar tools) such as step-by-step RAG demos, vector search walkthroughs, and LLM integration tutorials aligned with AI Database features.
- Collaborate with advocates, engineers, and demo creators to ensure video accuracy, technical depth, and compliance; incorporate SEO, captions, and accessibility features to enhance storytelling and reach.
- Analyze video performance metrics (e.g., views, watch time, engagement) and iterate based on feedback from GitHub, Slack, and analytics tools; promote videos across digital channels like YouTube, Client's developer portal, and social media to amplify technical narratives.
- Support events (e.g., Tech Days, Hackathons) with custom demo videos, QR-linked handouts, and live-recorded sessions to drive physical scans, enablement, and on-site storytelling that inspires AI adoption.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in communications, film production, marketing, or related; 4+ years in video content creation or technical demos, ideally in tech/AI environments.
- Exceptional storytelling and editing skills for technical audiences; proficiency in video tools (e.g., Camtasia, Adobe Premiere; strong aptitude for visualizing and simplifying AI/database concepts through demos.
- Experience with B2B technical videos, accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG), scriptwriting for developer engagement, and metrics-driven optimization preferred.
