Job title : Quality Management Systems (QMS) Specialist
Contract Type: Contract to Hire
Work Model: Partial onsite – Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday onsite and as needed.
Interview Process : First interview remote; second interview in person.
Hours: 7–8 AM to 3:30–4:30 PM depending on start time.

Role Overview

This position is part of the PGBA Quality Support Team (five members) and reports to the Systems Security Officer. The team ensures policies and procedures are maintained and followed, with exposure to Project Management, Client Management, and Application Development.

This is NOT: an Application Developer, an Auditor, or a Trainer role.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and report key process metrics; analyze data to identify and drive improvements.
• Act as a Quality Coach to Project Managers and project teams, ensuring quality requirements are met, including measurement review and causal analysis.
• Provide document control administration, management training, and support for the QMS.
• Support and educate teams on implementing and maintaining QMS certification, including oversight of improvement activities and management reviews.
• Perform data analytics as requested by Senior Management to validate and trend organizational goals.

Must-Have Skills

• Education: Bachelor's degree or 4 years of equivalent work experience
• Experience: 7+ years in QMS development and implementation
• Auditing: 3+ years auditing against ISO 9000, TQM, Six Sigma, CMMI, or Baldridge criteria
• Technical: Proficient in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, Charting, X-Lookups) and PowerPoint
• Soft skills: Strong communication and cross-functional coaching; ability to motivate people and foster teamwork toward shared goals; comfortable working one-on-one with project leaders (e.g., hands-on guidance to follow process, rather than just pointing to a policy folder.
