Our government client in NYC is looking for a Contract Buyer for a longterm contract. Must have 3-5 years working experience purchasing Goods and Services.
Training done onsite for the first 2-3 weeks and then a 2/3 and 3/2 hybrid work schedule.

Hours: 9AM to 5:30PM, hour unpaid lunch, 40 billable hours per week.
Term: Estimated at 12 months

Capable of contract management from inception to end of the entire process, Not just coordination
Driving the entire purchasing process
Customer management
Finding new vendors
Negotiating
Government procurement a plus
Excellent communication skills
Articulate unable to communicate over video calls
Manage relationship with the internal business management team
Gather the requirements and translated into an RFP
Able to deal with boots on ground to keep operations moving smoothly: Example dealing with facilities management, lease agreements, fueling, m maintenance, special project team, services, some equipment, purchasing and facilities.
