Role Description:

We are seeking aSenior Java Developer with 6+ years of experience in designing and developing enterprise applications usingJava, Spring Boot, and Microservices.


Location: Sydney.

Salary: AUD 108571 - 119893 Annual Gross.

Please Note: - The above salary range is only indicative and maybe subject to suitable enhancements, based on internal company processes

Key Skills Required
  • Strong hands-on experience withJava 8+/11+/17, Spring Boot, and Microservices
  • Expertise in developing and consumingREST APIs
  • Solid understanding ofObject-Oriented Programming (OOP),SOLID principles,Design Patterns, andClean Coding practices
  • Experience with relational databases such asOracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL
  • Proficiency withGit,Maven/Gradle, and version control best practices
  • Understanding ofCI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps
  • Experience withJPA/Hibernate, unit testing, and code quality tools
  • Strong knowledge ofAgile/Scrum development methodologies
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop scalable, secure, and high-performance backend applications and microservices
  • Design and implement RESTful APIs and integrations
  • Participate in architecture, design reviews, and technical discussions
  • Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices
  • Perform code reviews, troubleshoot issues, and support production deployments
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment
Preferred Skills
  • Spring Cloud, Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes
  • Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
  • Banking or Financial Services domain experience
Experience: 6+ Years
Primary Skills: Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs, Oracle/MySQL/PostgreSQL, Git, Maven/Gradle, CI/CD, Agile Scrum.
