Construction Quality Manager

Duties

• Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive quality control plans tailored to government construction project.
• Generate detailed logs in RMS 3.0 (Resident Management System) to track project data.
• Verify material submittals are per approved technical specifications.
• Identify non-conforming work, stopping it immediately, and managing a "Rework Log " until it's fixed.
• Collaborate with Safety Director to ensure site safety.
• Conduct thorough inspections and quality assessments on-site to verify compliance with design specifications, safety regulations, and industry standards.
• Lead quality inspection teams by providing guidance on best practices for data collection, documentation, and reporting.
• Analyze inspection data and site reports to identify trends, root causes of issues, and opportunities for process improvements.
• Collaborate closely with construction management teams to resolve quality issues promptly and prevent reoccurrences.
• Review contracts, technical drawings, and specifications to ensure all work aligns with contractual obligations and quality benchmarks.
• Maintain meticulous records of inspections, non-conformance reports, corrective actions, and project documentation to support audits and compliance reviews.

Skills

• RMS 3.0 experience
• Strong computer skills
• Proven experience working on construction sites with a strong understanding of construction processes and safety protocols.
• Expertise in quality control procedures, including conducting detailed construction inspections and quality assessments.
• Strong analysis skills to interpret inspection data, identify issues early, and recommend effective solutions.
• Excellent knowledge of construction management principles and contract management to coordinate effectively across teams.
• Ability to collect accurate data during inspections and compile comprehensive reports for stakeholders.
• Familiarity with industry standards related to quality assurance in construction projects.
