Position Summary
The Construction Project Manager IV leads complex, high-value design and construction projects for government facilities. This position oversees all phases—from planning and design through construction, commissioning, and occupancy—while managing scope, budget, schedule, quality, and customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple large-scale construction and renovation projects.
- Develop project scopes, cost estimates, schedules, and management plans.
- Provide on-site oversight and resolve complex construction issues.
- Review designs, submittals, progress reports, and invoices.
- Ensure compliance with codes, life-safety requirements, sustainability standards, and contract terms.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, acquisition teams, and customer agencies.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and stakeholder communication.
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and on budget.
- Travel to project sites for inspections and progress reviews as needed.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field and/or 10 years of design and construction project management experience
- Strong knowledge of commercial building systems, construction methods, codes, and quality standards
- Experience with construction scheduling, cost estimating, project documents, scopes of work, and specifications
- Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple high-value projects
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills
- Advanced computer skills and experience with project management and estimating software
- Master’s degree in a related field preferred
