Our client, an Am Law 200 firm, is seeking an attorney with4–6 years (ONLY) of construction litigation (defense) experience to join itsConstruction Business Unit inLos Angeles, California.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience withtrial preparation and courtroom practice, including primary file responsibility, motion practice, and depositions. Strongadvocacy, legal research, writing, and negotiation skills are essential.
Experience working with matters involvingconstruction, engineering, or architecture is a plus, as is familiarity withinsurance defense processes. Successful candidates will demonstrate excellent analytical abilities, exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a proven work ethic.
Applicants must possess astrong academic record from an ABA-accredited law school and beactively licensed to practice law in California.
Skills and Certifications
Hands-on experience with trial preparation and courtroom practice
Strong advocacy, legal research, writing, and negotiation skills
Experience working with matters involving construction, engineering, or architecture is a plus
Must possess a strong academic record from an ABA-accredited law school
