Construction Inspector – Roofing & Building Envelope

We are seeking an experiencedConstruction Inspector with a strong background inroofing systems and building envelope inspections to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience acrosscondominiums, townhomes, residential, and mixed-use developments, and will be prepared to step in immediately to support active projects. Key Responsibilities:

• Performroofing system inspections, including low-slope and steep-slope assemblies, acrosscondo, townhome, residential, and mixed-use properties.

• Inspectsiding, façade, and building envelope systems to identify defects, performance issues, and code compliance concerns.

• Conductforensic investigations related to roofing failures, water intrusion, and building envelope deficiencies.

• Prepare detailedinspection reports, repair recommendations, and technical specifications.

• Supportdue diligence efforts, research, application submissions, and related documentation.

• Coordinate and communicate withowners, property managers, architects, engineers, and contractors throughout inspection and construction phases.

• Review, negotiate, and managechange orders, budget revisions, and scope modifications.

• Assist withrisk assessments, project scheduling, field issue resolution, and project close-out activities.

• Lead or participate inproject coordination and progress meetings as needed.

Required Skills & Abilities:

• Demonstrated experience withroofing systems, building envelope components, and exterior construction.

• Strong project management, negotiation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

• Ability to analyze conditions and developpractical, cost-effective solutions.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including technical report writing.

• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.

• Proficiency inMicrosoft Office Suite.

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.

• Three or more years of relevant inspection or construction experience, with emphasis on roofing and exterior systems.

• Valid Driver’s License required.
