Construction Asset Manager (Contract-to-Hire)

Work Arrangement

• Hybrid schedule
• 2-3 days per week in the office

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the financial and operational performance of an affordable housing portfolio
• Oversee capital improvement and rehabilitation projects from planning through completion
• Monitor reserves, budgets, cash flow, and asset performance
• Ensure compliance with affordable housing programs, financing requirements, and LIHTC regulations
• Partner with property management teams, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders
• Conduct portfolio analysis, property inspections, and long-term asset planning
• Present recommendations and performance updates to senior leadership

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business, Construction Management, Urban Planning, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in asset management, affordable housing, construction management, property operations, or related real estate functions
• Strong financial analysis, budgeting, and capital project management experience
• Knowledge of affordable housing programs, including LIHTC and HUD-related programs
• Advanced Excel skills
