Computer Support Specialist (On-site)

HEPCO is seeking an experienced Computer Support Specialist to perform Quality Assurance testing for our client’s Project Management Office (PMO). This role will support application quality through test planning, execution, defect tracking, and collaboration with development teams.

• Develop test plans and write detailed test cases based on project requirements.
• Perform manual testing of DFS applications.
• Identify and document bugs in Jira, and validate fixes through retesting.
• Design and execute manual and automated test plans for new features and releases.
• Build and maintain a regression test suite to identify issues before production.
• Perform exploratory testing to identify edge cases automated tests may miss.
• Partner with engineers early in development to define acceptance criteria and testable requirements.
• Track, prioritize, and report defects to support timely resolution.
• Establish QA metrics, including defect escape rate, test coverage, and time to detect, to measure quality improvements.

Minimum Qualifications:

• At least 3 years of experience using Jira for test management or bug tracking.
• At least 5 years of experience performing unit, integration, user acceptance (UAT), regression, and system testing.
• At least 2 years of experience performing QA testing on Agile projects.
• At least 5 years of experience writing test scripts.

Pay Range: $32.00 - $37.00 per hour (Depending on experience and qualifications)
