Compliance Consultant (Melbourne based – 12 Months)

Reporting to the Head of Compliance Australia, this role will provide compliance advisory support across strategic initiatives, new products, customer propositions and regulatory obligations.

Key requirements include:

· 5+ years' experience in compliance, legal, risk or a related advisory role within financial services.

· Strong understanding of consumer credit regulation, including NCCPA, ASIC Act and Corporations Act requirements.

· Direct consumer credit experience is essential.

· Credit card compliance experience is highly desirable but not mandatory.

· Experience partnering with project, product and business teams to provide practical compliance advice and risk guidance.

· Demonstrated experience managing regulatory incidents, breaches and reportable situations.

· Ability to influence senior stakeholders, challenge constructively and navigate difficult conversations while remaining solution-oriented.

· Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-intensity environment.
