Compassionate Care Provider - Bay City

12-Hour Shifts (Shift options: 7am-7pm & 7pm-7am)

Woodhaven at Bay City is seeking compassionate and dependable Part-Time & Full-Time Caregivers to join our team! We are a faith-based, nonprofit senior living community providing Independent Living and Assisted Living services.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, ambulation, and hygiene.
• Support residents' nutritional needs, including meal preparation, serving, feeding, and hydration.
• Administer and document medications according to physician orders and facility policy.
• Observe and report changes in residents' condition, behavior, and incidents.
• Encourage and participate in resident activities that promote engagement and well-being.
• Perform housekeeping duties, including resident room cleaning, laundry, and dining room duties.
• Maintain a safe, respectful, and welcoming environment for residents, families, and staff.
• Collaborate with members of the care team and participate in care conference meetings.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA, training, attendance, and other facility requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous caregiving or healthcare experience is a plus.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to resident dignity, safety, and confidentiality.
• A caring and compassionate attitude toward older adults.
