Community Worker - Inner west

• Location - Five dock, Leichardt and surrounding areas
• Permanent Part Time role 
• Increased hourly rate from July 1st - $34.50 - $48.75 per hour + superannuation + km reimbursement ($1.11per km)

We are looking forpassionate and caringindividualstomake a differencein ourAgedCareclients' lives byassisting them to live at home independently for as long as possible.You will be travelling around the Five dock, Leichardt andwill need to have some availability during weekdays Monday to Friday between 8am-5pm. (Preferably3-5 days)

Day to day role looks like:

• General household tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, ironing, cleaning the bathroom & kitchen, changingbeds andwashing 
• Transport to appointments and shopping 
• Meal preparation 
• Social Support or Respite for family/carers 
• Personal careincludingassistance with showering and dressing (if qualified/fully trained)

To be successful in this role you’ll need

• A kind heart and genuine passion for providing high quality care to the elderly
• Comfortable interacting with a wide variety of people
• Good communication skills
• A reliable team player
• Understanding of workplace health and safety
• An Australian driver'slicence and access to a reliable insured motor vehicle (essential)
• Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent (not essential as you can complete this through our traineeshipprogram)
• Willingness to apply for a Police Check
