Community Living Specialist for the shift. 1pm-9pm Landover MD

POSITION SUMMARY

Psychotherapeutic Services is looking for facility based, Community Living Shift Leader for the 1PM-9PM shift. 

The Community Living Shift Leader's goal is to:

• increase persons’ capacity for independent community living through the establishment of rapport with persons, role-modeling, teaching, and the provision of activities and learning experiences
• serve as first line supervisor for Community Living Specialists and less experienced workers and may perform direct care tasks
• EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
• High School Diploma or GED; plus one (1) adult mental health experience required.  Preferred - Associate Degree (Certificated Nursing Assistance (CNA), Medical Technicians (Med Tech.) /or related certified professional.  College degree may replace experience requirement.

Med tech certification is a plus
