Job Description:
Manage and support Department of State training activities related tosystem authorization, cybersecurity compliance, and continuous monitoring efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review, analyze, and maintainDISA STIG compliance artifacts, including STIG Viewer checklists (.CKL files), supporting evidence, and remediation status.
- Execute, review, and interpret cybersecurity scans, includingSCAP Compliance Checker, ACAS, vulnerability scans, and related assessment results.
- Develop and provideIT and end-user training on computer hardware and application software.
- Conduct research necessary to develop and revise training courses and prepare appropriate training catalogs.
- Prepare instructor materials, includingcourse outlines, background materials, and training aids.
- Prepare student materials, includingcourse manuals, workbooks, handouts, completion certificates, and course critique forms.
- Train personnel through formalclassroom courses, workshops, and seminars.
- Communicate accurate information clearly and effectively.
- Active Secret Clearance required to start.
- Security+ CE or higher DoD 8140/8570-compliant certification.
- 5+ years of cyber communications training experience.
- Experience ininformation systems development, training, or related fields.
- Strong experience withRMF activities for Army or DoD systems.
- Experience supporting tactical systems throughIATT, ATO, and Continuous Monitoring activities.
- Solid knowledge of:
- AR 25-2
- DoD RMF
- NIST 800-53 security controls
- Army cybersecurity requirements
