Communications & Marketing Specialist

We are looking for a Communications & Marketing Specialist to join our Strategy & Product team. Reporting to the Head of Communications & Marketing, you will help strengthen Helia’s brand, reputation and stakeholder relationships.

This hands-on role supports marketing, brand, digital, internal and external communications, events and industry engagement. You will coordinate and deliver high-quality initiatives while collaborating with stakeholders across the business.

Responsibilities:

• Internal communications: Develop and coordinate clear, engaging business updates, leadership communications, intranet content and other internal materials.  
• External communications: Support the delivery of corporate communications, media materials, briefings and key messages.  
• Marketing: Coordinate marketing initiatives aligned with Helia’s marketing plan and business priorities. Support product and proposition launches by developing value propositions, messaging, content and marketing collateral.  
• Brand and content: Create and coordinate content across relevant channels and provide day-to-day brand guidance.
• Website and digital: Work with our external supplier to maintain accurate website content, support SEO and content optimisation, and monitor website performance.  
• Social media: Develop, schedule and publish social content, manage the content calendar, coordinate approvals and report on performance.  
• Events and industry engagement: Support customer and industry events, maintain the events calendar, coordinate merchandise and capture post-event learnings.

What you'll bring:

• 2–4 years’ experience in marketing and communications, ideally within a B2B or B2B2C environment, and a relevant tertiary qualification.
• Experience delivering marketing campaigns and supporting the go-to-market of products, services or propositions.
• The ability to translate product features and customer needs into clear messaging, content and marketing collateral.
• Strong writing and content development skills across digital, social and communications channels.
• Strong project coordination and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Experience with digital marketing, websites and social media; proficiency in Canva and experience with Adobe Creative Suite are desirable.
