Commissioning Associate - Electrical SME
Role Overview The Commissioning Associate provides essential engineering and technical support throughout a project's life cycle. This role focuses on data center projects across various locations in the DC Metro area, ensuring safety and budget adherence through rigorous testing and documentation.
Key Responsibilities
Documentation: Request, collect, and catalog submittals to assemble project manuals and reports.
Testing: Review and develop systems readiness and performance test drafts, as well as Cx test/inspection scripts.
Field Work: Conduct field observations to verify construction status and interface directly with MEPF trade partners.
Planning: Review project schedules for proper sequencing and assist in the development of commissioning schedules.
Leadership: Lead and mentor junior Facility Solution Associates.
Required Skills & Experience
Education: Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience: 2–5 years of relevant field experience.
Technical Skills: High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Project.
Physical Ability: Must be able to perform "Heavy Work," including exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally and navigating jobsites (climbing ladders, stooping, etc.).
Compensation & Logistics
Salary Range: $90,000 – $120,000.
Location: Various sites in the DC Metro area (In-office/On-site).
