Commercial Real Estate Asset Manager

The person should be able to operate with relatively little supervision and already has direct commercial asset-management experience

. This job description is broader than a typical junior Asset Management Associate.

The employee isn't just building Excel models for an Asset Manager. They're expected to coordinate withproperty managers, leasing brokers, tenants, contractors, vendors, lenders and attorneys, while monitoring operating expenses, budgets, leases, tenant improvements, capital projects, leasing activity and property-level problems.

The language that stands out most is:

"Take ownership of assignments, proactively follow up, develop solutions, and drive matters through completion."

That changes the level of the position.
