• Pay Rate: $55.00 / Hour (USD)
• Travel Requirements: Remote candidates must be open to approximately one week of travel to San Diego for onboarding and training.

Job Summary

Our client is seeking aCommercial Project Manager responsible for supporting the planning, execution, and management of strategic initiatives and projects.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Execution:

• Collaborate with internal and external project team members to plan and drive comprehensive project plans, define project scope, set timelines and milestones.
• Coordinate team meetings, agendas, maintain record of meeting notes, action items and next steps.
• Ensure action items are resolved and documented.
• Interact with team members, including director and senior-level staff, in driving the completion of deliverables.
• Monitor performance and track progress of key initiatives and milestones.
• Escalation of project delays, identification of mitigations of project delays.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

• Communication with internal team members and external customers.
• Collaborate with national cross-functional team members including sales, marketing, field service, project engineering, research & development, program management and others as needed.
• Communicate status of project deliverables to core team leader, team members, and stakeholders.
• Generate and share monthly update reports.

Risk Management:

• Track potential project risks, capture mitigation strategies and assess the project impact.

Work Environment / Physical Requirements

• Candidates must be comfortable facilitating customer meetings, presenting professionally on camera, and documenting meeting notes live.
• Structured remote work environment required.
• Candidate should be comfortable working primarily East Coast business hours.
• Candidates located near San Diego, CA or Marlborough, MA are preferred.
• Client will provide laptop, dual monitors, keyboard, mouse, and camera.

Important Notes

• The interview process includes a Hiring Manager Phone Screen, Team/Panel Interview, and Presentation Exercise.
• Candidates selected for the final round will receive a project-related prompt and will be asked to deliver a presentation to the client team. The presentation will be used to assess project management capabilities, communication skills, meeting management, organization, documentation practices, and overall professionalism.

The organization employs professionals across quality assurance, manufacturing, engineering, program management, and project management functions. Roles span multiple facilities and support cross-functional teams of internal engineers, field service personnel, sales, marketing, and research & development professionals working in both on-site and remote capacities.
