Commercial Finance Analyst

MECCA’s Finance team plays a key role in driving strong commercial outcomes across the business, and we’re looking for a Property Analyst to provide financial insight and analysis across our Property portfolio. 

Working closely with Property, Facilities, Retail Operations and Commercial Finance, this role will help shape investment decisions, improve performance and provide the financial visibility needed to support MECCA’s continued growth. 

The Role You Could Play: 

Reporting to the Senior Commercial Finance Manager, you will provide commercial finance support and analysis across MECCA’s Property function. You will: 

• Prepare monthly Property reporting, including feasibility analysis, capital expenditure tracking and post-investment reviews 

• Partner with Property and Facilities teams to develop budgets, forecasts and financial assumptions across occupancy, overheads and capital expenditure 

• Prepare financial feasibilities for new stores and maintain the Property pipeline and rent forecasts 

• Develop financial models, scenario analysis and ad hoc reporting to support commercial decisions, projects and business initiatives 

• Continuously improve reporting, processes and financial understanding across key stakeholder groups 

What You Will Bring: 

You are a commercially minded and detail-oriented finance professional who enjoys turning data into clear insights and partnering with stakeholders to drive better business outcomes. Ideally, you will bring: 

• 3+ years’ analytical or commercial finance experience, ideally within Property, Retail, FMCG or Big 4 

• A degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting or a related discipline 

• Strong financial analysis, modelling and reporting skills, with advanced Excel capability 

• Confidence partnering with both finance and non-finance stakeholders and communicating financial insights clearly 

• Experience with TM1, Tableau or data mining tools will be highly regarded
